A veteran of the twin cities since 1986, Boyd began his music career with the jam band "The Spaceheaters" as lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist; one of the twin cities largest drawing bands for over 8 years. Beginning in 1995 Boyd began focusing his attention on acoustic music; writing, recording and performing for himself and others.
Along with countless recording projects, you can find him performing both live as a solo artist and with his current group “2 Girls & A Boyd”. However the bulk of his time these days is spent with and producing a variety of theater production concerts such as “California Dreaming-The Songs of Laurel Canyon”, "Rumours & Dreams-A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac", "Rainy Days & Mondays-The Music of The Carpenters", "Forever Everly-Hits of The Everly Brothers ", “Running On Empty-A Tribute To Jackson Browne” and others.
